Jim's New House Idea
Here is yet another new house plan. This concept was derived from the house at Mt. Rushmore in the Hitchcock movie North By Northwest, which has always fascinated me. That house was not a real Frank Lloyd Wright house (I'm a big FLW fan), but the script called for a house "in the Frank Lloyd Wright style". Here I've made it much smaller and largely eliminated the cantilevered living room, replacing it with a simpler cantilevered deck to suggest the same effect.
This design is really small, but there is a loft (not shown in the floorplan, but visible in the interior rendering) that adds some space, as well as a partial basement. The blue panels on the roof represent solar cells, not skylights.
Following are some interior and exterior views, and the floorplan. I welcome comments on the concept plus any reasonable suggestions. In addition, I will entertain offers for engineering and drafting support if any professionals are interested. My e-mail address is at the bottom of the page.

If you're interested, there is additional content on this web page featuring photographs from some of my vacations since retirement, other photographs, and descriptions of my astronomy hobby (which is why I bought the land in the first place). There're also pictures of some Frank Lloyd Wright houses I visited last year. Go here for a look.
